Results from 3rd Individual Time Trials
Thanks again to Edge City racers for participating in our third ITT. Here are the results of the 8 mile course:
Steve C. 10:05/20:00, Charles A. 10:05/20:11, Brady P. 10:53/21:20, Harold M. 11:15/22:16, Arley S. 11:26/22:50, Kale M. 11:24/22:59, Jack B. 11:34/23:06, Gary H. 11:21/24:26, Krista A. 12:20/24:27, Susan B. 13:40/27:36, Linda R. 13:56/27:56, Antoinette R. 14:00/28:14. The first time is the Split time at the 4 mile marker. David S. and John W. also rode to course before the racers started. Bea, Penny, Eric, Sharon, Mel and Terry B. were on hand to record times and photograph the riders.

Time Trials / Thursday Night Rides
On the 1st Thursday of each month, we will be holding Time Trials at Hwys. 108 / 71N. Meet at 6:00 pm to warm up and the trials will start at 6:30 pm. Points will also be recorded for each place and at the end of 6 months, "prizes" will be awarded.
On the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Thursdays of each month, we will meet at 4101 Terry St. at Mayo Furniture Mfg. parking lot at 7:00 p.m. We will ride west across Terry St., down the frontage road and back to Terry St. There is very little traffic on this loop. It is approximately 1.3 miles. This will let those interested in training for the race in October, come out and ride. We will also have riders going a slower speed, that will enjoy this ride, too.
To get to Terry Street, exit Loop 151 (Hwy. 59-to Houston)at K-Mart and stay on the frontage road. Turn left (east)at the Stop sign on Terry Street, cross over the bridge and park in the parking lot at Mayo Furniture Mfg. Call a Board member if you have any questions. Hope to see you there.

Bicycle Race Set for October 4, 2009
Start training now for our bicycle race, Sunday, October 4, 2009 at Spring Lake Park. We are in the planning stages and welcome any and all contributions/sponsorships. Over $2,000 worth of cash and prizes are on the line this year.
